SPRING/SUMMER LEAGUE 2017 INFORMATION

 


  • Spring/Summer League runs from April to the end of August. Teams rotate through weekday evening and weekend afternoon/evening ice times. No Friday, Saturday or Sunday games during July and August. No games on long weekends.

  • Men's divisions for novice and intermediate teams.

  • Women's teams and individual female players should contact Charlene Jaggers for information on the Women's Spring League.

  • Registration for the Spring/Summer League starts January 14, 2017.

  • Individual players can register and will be assigned to existing or new teams if space is available. Registering via the Internet provides the necessary information to assign players to teams and the best opportunity to join a team. Players will be contacted by the league or a team manager ONLY if a position is available. Players must be 19 years or over to play in the DHL unless they sign a waiver.

  • Games are played at Ice Sports North Shore, 2411 Mount Seymour Parkway, North Vancouver.

  • 14 Regular Season games plus 2 playoff games for all men's teams - women's 12 regular season plus 2 playoff games.

  • Games are 75 minutes with 3 stop-time periods.

  • 2 referees and a timekeeper are provided for each game.

  • Game schedules and statistics are posted on the league web site.

  • Teams will be placed in the appropriate division for their overall skill level. The league may move teams to more suitable divisions during the season. Divisions will consist of 4 to 8 teams of similar skill.

  • CARHA accident and liability insurance.
SPRING/SUMMER 2017 LEAGUE FEES

MEN'S TEAMS: $5,350.00 + GST ($5617.50 total)

WOMEN'S TEAMS: $4,699 + GST ($4933.95 total)

WOMEN'S individuals: (based on 15 players) $313.27 + GST ($329 total)

MEN'S individuals: (based on 15 players) $357 + GST ($374.85 total)





TEAM PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Deposit all teams: March 1st $1,000.00

Women's payments:

June 1st $1,933.95



  • TEAMS THAT PAY IN FULL BEFORE THIER FIRST GAME $200 DISCOUNT
  • We accept etransfers and credit card payments - call 604-762-7590 to pay by credit card
  • Please make cheques payable to Duffers Hockey League. Returned cheque charge $50.00
  • 5% late payment charge applied to outstanding team fees after due date. Payments must be postmarked by the due date.

    Women's Masters 2017 - 2018

    Duffers has a Women's Masters League for female players over 30 years old looking for fun, less aggressive and competitive level of hockey.

    The goal is to play fun hockey with less contact than a normal game.

    The season will be 20 games regular season games.

    Games will not conflict with other women's games to accommodate players playing for more than one team.

    The cost for team will be posted in May, we also are looking for players to fill teams.
